Hello Elio’ers! Another Tuesday, another Elio Tour Blog coming your way! This time, it’s all about the Miramar Airshow. We spent the weekend in San Diego “Top Gun” style at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Over 1.3 MILLION people attended the show which kept a constant stream of admirers and #futureliowners at our booth where we had both the P3 (Rocket Silver) and P4 (Creamsicle) on display.
If you haven’t been to an airshow, it’s something you should definitely see! There was one impressive performance after another, several being the Blue Angels and the Wall of Fire (pictured below). Watch the Airshow recap video on YouTube: click here.

Of course the highlight of our tour stops is having a chance to reconnect with our reservation holders such as Julio. Julio works for United Site Services and was driving by during his shift when he stopped to say "I don't believe it, there's the Elio!" He hurried through his deliveries, then circled back to see us again while we were setting up to ask if he could sit in it saying, "I'm a reservation holder. So is my father-in-law. He's getting a second one too!"
Steve and Deanne were working at the Aero Museum, pulling vintage planes out to the runway for display in the Airshow and made sure to save time to see the Elio. This wasn't their first or second time seeing us on tour, but a fourth for the couple. They saw us last year in Hollywood, CA., then in December in Tampa, FL. and again in July at Comic Con. They are definitely dedicated and we appreciate the support! It's always great seeing friends like Steve and Deanne, they even helped with answering questions to some of the new and potential #futureliowners.
