Hello Elio’ers! After leaving the Consumer Electronics Show and being named in a CNET poll "Product They'd Most Like to Take Home" by its readers, we are now at Barrett-Jackson. Barrett-Jackson is known to be "The World's Greatest Collector Car Auctions," the biggest of which being the Scottsdale, AZ show we are currently attending. We plan to make our rounds at each auction this year, but the Arizona one is particularly exciting because of its sheer volume. Not to mention, it's where Paul Elio resides and our main offices are located. We are definitely more than fully staffed here!
If you plan on coming, we'll be here until the 18th located in the Sponsor's Pavilion near the front entrance. You can't miss us! We're the bright orange (or should we say creamsicle) three-wheeler with a big crowd around it.
During the first weekend, we met Arak Leatham, a reservation holder and an avid 3-wheeler aficionado. His goal is to use technology he knows of, alter his Elio, and try to get his to reach 120 MPG!
He didn't come empty handed. He brought a book, The A-Z of Three Wheelers, a definitive reference guide, by Elvis Payne. Arak assisted in getting the Elio published (along with Elvis and Elio staff), which we consider a great honor! Check out the photos below.
