Not that anyone cares, but I've been emotionally out since the 25 engineering vehicles never materialized from investor money.
Of all the woulda, coulda, shoulda's that everyone goes on about here, one thing seemed certain, the investment money was raised, a clear concise goal was stated, the...
For all you etrade people: Can you look at the image above and give me advice on the areas I have questions? I want to get this right on the first try.
Trust me, I got that before you wrote it. That is part of the equation, for me the more important part that many are either glossing over or just perfectly ok with is this: with the commitment as written, the signee has agreed to receiving and paying in full at ANY TIME in the future for a...
Or Elio could have provided an end date, or Elio could have provided a better incentive to increase the amount of people willing to sign a commitment with no end date.
This is not the first partially baked item from Elio. There is risk, and risk is risk. We all determine the $ value we're willing to put on that risk. 2019, $300 - no way. Jan 2018, ok.
In theory, they can deliver the car in 2022 and I have to pay for it then. I don't like that and $300 is small change and not worth the risk to me. The unibody design change, although good in my eyes, is just another indicator that this car is still a work in progress. There is no additional...
I agree. I'm all in a $1000 and invested $1000 of stock. $300 is not all remotely enough to entice me to sign a binding agreement the way it is currently written.
I would only sign a binding agreement if there was an out date or production date set in stone. I know that is not realistic to...
What you point out is what most of us probably think here otherwise we wouldn't be here. But what I'm trying to say is that there are probably at least a million + of $35k+ luxury car sales each year, you could argue not one of those people need those cars, there is always a cheaper alternative...
I agree. There are many different types of similar cars, it depends on what you value. The Chevy Volt is similar and has about $35k base and from early reviews the Tesla 3 is roomier in the back seat. The base or close to base BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Acura TSX, etc... are all around that price...
Latest monthly graph. About 34/day for the past month. Not so bad for Elio, but kind of tiny compared to Tesla. Tesla is at around 3800 reservations per hour right now.
I never expected the stock to shoot up like this (high 30's), so I intend to sell much sooner than initially planned so I voted to "hold for a few months". However I've done nothing yet to allow myself to sell my stocks online.
Hoping I don't need to mod mine and they are all optional add-ons.
Heated seats, steering wheel, and mirrors. set of snow tires for winter. Simple Exterior wrap. Exterior LED's on outrigger wheels.
Items I'll wait for first legitimate road reviews or my first couple of months of owning. If...
I'm clueless too, what paper work from where did you mail to whom today? I also have E*TRADE and would like to have it sitting in my E*TRADE account ready to sell if I wanted to.
I have not contacted Vstock transfer that was mentioned in the latest Elio Email to me because I felt I need to...
I'm going to copy most of my post from this same subject, different thread from a few years ago regarding NPG coolant:
I think this product is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist if you flush your coolant as recommended.
If the choice is adding a 50/50 mixture of tap water and engine...
Yes, but also note the average rate of reservations before that announcement to discontinue the incentive, it still averaged around 100/day for half a year. My opinion is that there were more people that believed getting the vehicle into production was highly probable before the following two...
Lastest monthly graph below, which includes the more recent bump. Even though this week had a decent bump, it pales in comparison to daily rates in Spring to Fall of 2014. I suspect not much more of a jump in reservation rate until real news of E series development or some kind of further fine...
:bump:
At least one of my predictions may come true.

Did you call a local Charles Schwab office, or use Charles Schwab online?
I'm wondering if I can handle this through my online etrade account, I don't use a broker. Our company has financial advisors that handle our 401k's, but I don't know if they are the people to talk about this type of...
