Elio Gauge Cluster - Lord Elgin? - Other Options?

The fact they're ignoring such overwhelming dislike of a major part means for the first time I'm concerned and second guessing the $1k I plunked down for the deposit. Quite simply, I don't want to read numbers, I want to see the position of something relative to a stationary something else.

Quick Poll. Yes, Another Poll. This One About Transmissions.

If I was still single, I'd be getting a stick like every one of my previous cars. Despite a few lessons on driving a manual, the wife definitely isn't comfortable enough to consider getting an Elio with one, and there will be times she may need to be able to drive it.

I happened to be visiting back home when the P4 was at the Dream Cruise. As I was leaving, IAV guy Kody Klindt was talking details about the engine to a small group. Lots of great detailed info about the engine (oil pan, SOHC, EGR, chain drive, variable/Porsche Variocam valve timing, etc) and...

What Color Elio Are You Getting?

Sure you can, just do plastidip. You can do a normal sized car for ~$200.

    Custom Paint Options

I plan on starting with their orange, and adding accents, racing stripes, and whatever else with PlastiDip spray. It protects the factory paint, and when you want something different it peels right off. I'm also considering spraying the whole orange car with red/orange pearl or flake suspended...

    Austinites, Check In!

For a variety of reasons, I expect there to be a lot of us out of Austin. Of course I'm already planning owners group rides and what not. Marble Falls, with the fun twisty road along 1431, for some Blue Bonnet pie. Fredericksburg for a straight long haul to see what kind of mpg we can get, and...
