You grind the pad to size off the stock. You'll have to measure your stock to get the right size when ordering, too big of a blank and you will grind into the gel. Here's a link to what I've got. https://www.limbsaver.com/product/grind-to-fit-recoil-pad/
Here's their install video.

Ive got a limbsaver gel pad on my 870 express 3 1/2".
Well worth the money and time spent installing. It's diy if you have a belt sander - need to shape it to your stock.
Congrats to young Blaney and the 21 team. I'm not a Ford guy, but the Wood Bros. are legends in the sport and I believe Ryan is on the way to becoming one of the big names of the next 20 years.
Hall of Fame inductees for next year:
Red Byron
Ken Squier
Robert Yates
Ray Evernham
Ron Hornady
Not a one I'd throw out, but I was sure hoping my home stater Kulwicki would have made it this year.
It's pretty likely he will make the next class though, he was tied for 5th in the vote and...
Yawn. Again. That engineering study could've been done years ago, in about 10 minutes.
I don't want to be negative, but I've pretty well run out of things to be positive about.
Back on track for a sec, the proposal would cut ATVM out of the 2018 budget. The program has a budget for this year already. How much, I dunno, but the fiscal year runs either to or through October (I forget which) - so even if it gets killed for next year, we have 6 months or so of hope.
While I agree with most of what you say,
"My commute is 1.5hrs. Around 160 miles round trip. So yes, Fuel efficiency is important to me. Cost is also important because I will have worn this car out in about a year an a half and Ill need a new one"
- how do you wear a car out in 65000...
120A altermator? Is that really necessary, or do they not make em smaller than that now?
I remember many a 37A Delco on old GMs, two of my tractors still have em.
Gimme the skinnies for snow and ice. I'll put the fat ones on in the summer for dry cornering. I don't even care for the factory width tires on my truck in snow.
12" of untracked snow is gonna stop an Elio or most any other small car. 12" of wet heavy snow will have a full size 4x4 with it's...
I just went the opposite route. $627 spent under the hood of the commuter car, along with new tires all around 2 months ago. I'll keep throwing occasional parts at it until the body is shot. Still way cheaper than a 3-500 a month car payment.
What are you replacing her with?
I already have that, and I ain't got much time! Partly because I'm squirreling away all I can for that glorious "Take This Job and Shove It" day that seems far down the road yet.
I just read in another thread that you're hanging up the set of keys marked "Work" for the last time today.
Congratulations and enjoy retirement!
I'm 15-ish years behind ya.
92 round trip 5, sometimes 6 days a week. Often my weekend travels add another 150 or so to the odometer each week.
90% rural, 10% freeway. Not a bad ride if it isn't snowing.
Flat on the floor, not many, maybe 4 in a 40' container. Somewhere in my posts, I tried this with a standard 53' van trailer, I think 5 or 6 fit in there. If I have time later, I'll see if I can find it.
To stuff more in would take crating and tilting them up/down to use vertical space as well...
That's pretty much the ideal application for Slime. All 4 of my mower tires are Slimed.
I think the small (16 oz?) bottle is what you want in a tire that size, but check the chart on the side of the bottle to be sure.
