...preferences. But digital dash and flares on the side/tail are visual effects (with a little functionality with the dash portion.) Personally, I'd like the option to remove the front wheelcovers.
Bottom line - I hope there is a way to view a decked out version in person before we have to order.
I am sure EM will make the open wheel fenders as an option for those who want the look instead of the mileage advantage of the fully wheelcovers.
As for the rest of the P3 front end, and the P2 style front end as well, I would be surprised if someone does not make aftermarket kits for this. It...
...so the lights are right next to each other, like a motorcycle, negating the need for a third light.
As far as lighting on the front wheelcovers I doubt that EM is going to do anything there from the factory, maybe they will have available an aftermarket addon. I personally plan to wire in...
Good observations about center of lane driving, those of us that rode bikes (2 wheel) know all to well never ride center. There are many streams here sharing your concerns, and each of us must evaluate risk/gain. Don't know your specifics, but some trikes power the rear middle wheel, which I...
Used for a delivery VEHICLE ????....I am all for the ELIO 100% since I heard about it 6 months ago and have graduated to the "ALL IN" No Refund $250.00 level and intend to increase that amount when workers show up at the plant and production actually starts. With that being said...the main draw...
One more aspect will need a decision. Will the new Year1 have the same front wheelcovers, or will it be a little more streamlined?
If anyone gets a chance, that will be useful. Otherwise I'll have to make an assumption for that as well.
Apparently, they are in the Phoenix area this week. If I...
Always interested to hear from an Aptera reservationist. Is that the main thing you remember, it seemed like they were always wanting to add just one more item? On a post-mortem interview with the head honchos, they said that they should have tried to raise their own money, instead of depending...
...happens.
My only suggestions really are carpet to rubber mat, possibly cheaper tires in the Cooper line however this is doubtful, smaller wheelcovers or even an open wheel design and make the covers a cost option and possibly making the A/C a cost option depending on manufacturing logistics.
...she want, but also what would you like to give Z for Xmas?
I think she wanted the standard P4 color. Two tone color? Which rims? Which wheelcovers?
What does a Model Z stand for? What Z said she'd pay for or what we'd give her if our finances allowed it?
I know it has to have no compromise...
...custom wraps. I'm partial to BRG with creamy-yellow trim. Or maybe the other way round for the Elio. In either event, reflective tape on the rear edge of the wheelcovers and the front edges too. A few discrete patches may really help -- at night they can't see my peptobismol - pink paint...
So am I. I made that decision based on my many night time trips home from Medford each year. I really appreciate the trucks that have reflective tape and/or lights. They are so much easier to see on a very dark night in the mountains. :-) Z
I'm planning on putting a few small pieces of highly reflective tape on the wheelcovers just so people can see how wide the vehicle is at night and pass safely.
