Well, whether you plan on buying one in the future, or are just getting input from people that are interested in the Elio, I like your enthusiasm for your job (rare trait anymore)!
In this area an Elio is like a year around cycle rather than a 6 months ride and getting wet and wind burned in the short summer.

Hey Christian welcome to the forum! As you can read, we are a lot, who are a bit enthusiastic about our Elios, for a varity of reasons. For us Price is the top reason, followed by safety, MPG, American made and it's just a damn hot looking little vehicle!:D One will be the commuter vehicle (until retirement) the other will be the Elio Rally vehicle. We'll keep our Truck for hauling the Elio to Rallys or camping and the Subaru for hauling 3-5 people and the Chevy will become some teenagers first car with very low mileage for its age ( by the time our Elio's arrive it will be 13 years old and have about 87,000 miles on it).;)

our reasons are much the same as those mentioned by others .... former biker who for physical issues can't ride any longer, gas mileage, unique looks, initial cost, safety features, American made, all play a part .... for us, the right vehicle at the right time at the right cost .... we will use it as an "and car" for running around town and for taking fun, day trips .... we may well take it with us when traveling in our RV, doing so will drastically cut our fuel cost .... we are considering it to be a vehicle we will keep and use for many years
My reasons are the same as JEBar's

For me, it is more of an aesthetic 'want' vs. a need. I have wanted to own a simplistic vehicle - one that I can still work on myself, for quite a few years now. I designed a similar three-wheeled vehicle myself over 30 years ago, but, lacking the engineering expertise (chassis design, powerplant layout, suspension geometry, etc.), I left the vision unfulfilled. When I saw the Elio, I was overwhelmed with joy! It meets ALL my expectations - AND THEN SOME. Every key feature of the Elio is, for me, an added bonus. The fact that it will be produced at an idle GM plant with American workers - from mostly American parts seals the deal for me. I have plans to buy one as soon as I can - with a second one to customize in the second year of production. In ALL HONESTY, I can't come up with a logical scenario where this can fail. When they come off the line the first 40,000+ are already 'sold' - as those hit the streets, Elio Motors will be hard=pressed to keep up with demand. I can easily see 400,000-500,000 Elio's per year being snapped up. You didn't hear it from me first - but the LOUDEST!

Hey, Elio Owners! I want to thank you so much for taking the time to give me this information. It will be very, very useful in our meeting with Paul. If we do get brought on, I promise that FilmBreak will do everything in our power to help make this happen. We're ready for the Elio Nation!

Please, feel free to continue to leave your thoughts!

And please check back after your meeting to let us know how it went. :)
