I went to Elio web site, and found, interesting enough, for the first time they've provided the estimated # of want ins in the four categories -It appears to about 13k+ for each, and the process to upgrade, it's the first posting I've seen that makes clear the levels and "seniority"- approx how many units produced until they get to you. Interesting. Maybe everyone else knows this, but it's my first

A dyno doesn't take wind resistance into account. Lot different from no wind. Head wind is always there on the road. That's part of the reason that an Elio may be able to get 84 MPG. (at some unknown speed)

I have signed up for two. U have published that two - three months PRIOR to production, I will be notified to select vehicle specifics. I desire to TEST DRIVE one PRIOR to FINAL commitment.

I don't know exactly when, but there are promised test drive events for reservation holders.
Sounds like you are asking Elio Motors. This is an Elio forum(not owned by Elio Motors). All we know is information put out by Elio.

When Hyundai came to the US in 85 the Ford dealer I worked for took them on. We (the mechanics) got sent to a training center in NJ and after classes they let us drive (thrash) some Korean spec cars in the empty parking lot till they couldn't take anymore. Those Excels would do 103 mph! If Paul needs test drivers I'm up for it!
Welcome BStone! EM stated there will be ride and drive events scheduled after the EP5 Prototypes are built,tested, and ready to rock & roll. With funding issues EM can't even answer your question.
