Well you know how us Colonials are wheaters. Some of us make stupidity into an art form especially when under the influence of alcohol or other recreational pharmaceuticals. Hence the rednecks last words "Hold my beer and watch this".
It's worldwide. In wheaters' area, I beleive it goes something like "I say, old chap, hold my pint and observe"

Only if it were a vehicle that was actually meant to be driven - a fairly large amount of positive camber has been introduced at the rear wheels to either enhance the handling or to get too wide tires to clear the body. My bet would be on the latter. (cough, cough, trailer queen, cough)

Nope Top Gear used it in an episode.

Surely, you mean "Tally ho, old boy, pip pip!" :D

"Watch this!" - commonly known as the most dangerous phrase in Aviation!

I'm fluent in many dialects of English, from Georgia hillbilly to Canadian hoser, but Brit English is not my strong suit. Im learning a little through Top Gear (the good one, not our version) and your posts, though.

um - no plates, registration stickers or inspection tags on any of those vehicles - as surprised as I was that it had a running engine, it's a lot easier to do on a track only vehicle or show only as I doubt it would pass a tech inspection... catch cans and safety wire doesn't make for pretty.
