Ha! Nope, I am a truly terrible welder, it's one of my frustrations after 40 years of trying.
It's ok for the proto, but don't worry folks, I won't be welding any others :-)

May-Day holiday weekend and I need to measure and buy parts, but can not until tomorrow.
Because I m going with the original crossmember means I need to have longer control arms.
I balk at making bespoke ones, so my aim is to make simple and repeatable modifications to the stock control arms, to continue the 'off the shelf' theme as much as where possible.

for those of us who aren't so mechanically inclined .... if its not too much trouble, to make sure I understand what is going on, I'd appreciate seeing before and after pictures
