Naw, you are getting the one that they pulled the motor out of to see if that was your problem. I hope you were seeing things happen in person. LOL

I have no concern when repairs will be done, as I'm getting a completely different new unit. :D
Getting something done from them is like pulling teeth! You're being set up again as paperworks shouldn't take this long after the mfr. decided to replace your unit. Maybe that replacement unit you're getting is also getting fixed hence it's been in stock and unsold. Beware- it could be a lemon to lemon swap!

Actually it will take that long, as BOTH are hard to get a hold of, and BOTH seem to be dragging their feet. It took an agreement between BOTH dealer and mfr. to finally decide to replace. Dealer is not doing it w/o help from mfg.

Nope! They've been advertising new ones for sale constantly over the almost last 4 months since mine broke. I'm getting one of those.

If that's the case then you're all good. Did you picked the color/paint scheme you want or they decide what to give you? That will also tells you if they really have "several" units in stock for the swap.

For the last four months, they've advertised a solid light red one. Apparently that is all they have and had when I bought. I can't imagine they had only one (besides mine) available for all that time.

So let me get this straight, there's NO NEW ONES, just that solid light red one. Then we're right to assume that's the same unit were the borrowed motor came from to test your unit. :faint:

Make sure you get a NEW warranty not a warranty that is counting from when you get your unit. In other words have them restart the "clock" from the day you get it, rather then when this whole thing started. You don't want them to dump on you.
You want "in writing" the day the warranty starts. You don't owe them anything, so being a nice guy, is giving them a "get out of jail, free pass" hold their feet to the fire, and you don't want to get stuck with a lemon that you paid good money for.
Make sense???

Ummm..... AFTER I got mine, they advertised with the same picture as mine, as the units they had for sale were obviously all IDENTICAL. For all I know, the actual unit in the Ebay picture could have been sold some time before I got mine.

Of course I will! As I am in effect trading in the old one for a brand new one. A complete start over. So in no way will the warranty not start fresh.
