Biblically,”the meek shall inherit the Earth” doesn’t necessarily mean that Auto Dealers and Manufacturers will put you ‘in your ride.’ Backing off after even one or two screwings has an extremely low chance of gaining their respect.

I’d be way past ‘giving the guy a break.’ That doesn’t work with some who chronically takes advantage. He needs his feet held to the fire. Good luck with being nice.

It’s enough for me that I’d never buy one, especially from that thief.

It does speak highly as to why Electra Meccanica (SOLO) and Arcimoto (FUV) are doing slow limited sales/servicing area rollouts of retail production vehicles to be certain customer care and vehicle servicing providers are in place before expanding market areas. Follow up care and service are key to a new startup’s long term success.

It does speak highly as to why Electra Meccanica (SOLO) and Arcimoto (FUV) are doing slow limited sales/servicing area rollouts of retail production vehicles to be certain customer care and vehicle servicing providers are in place before expanding market areas. Follow up care and service are key to a new startup’s long term success.
EMV finally showed a new video of production line of SOLO being assembled at their China plant. It remains to be seen how many will be produced and delivered to reservation holders this year.

Cool to see a couple of startups crossing the retail production finish line. No easy task bringIng a new vehicle to market. Still lots of retail roll out hurdles regarding production scale and a servicing network.

EMV have been flaky for a long time. It does appear that they have updated specs on their website. Slower, heavier, wider, less HP, more expensive,skinnier front tires, fatter rear tire, but at least the charge times seem realistic now.
Considering that the website is showing deliveries for new reservations to take place in Q3 of 2020, if that were true, it means you could have your Solo delivered by the end of the month if you ordered tomorrow. Somehow, I don't believe it any more that when they said they they were in production in September of 2016.
I'll repeat myself at the risk of being crude: EMV are flakes.

Those few SOLOs shown in their latest video being assembled could end up at their showrooms as display units. We need to see pictures of their lot with hundreds of SOLOs fully assembled and ready to ship. Further, at less than 4 months to year end, they should be contacting early reservation holders of their intention to complete their purchase.
