Does anyone have any experience with submitting a ‘Freedom Of Information Act’ request? This would be to the Department Of Energy ATVM Office. It would be interesting up see the ‘time line’ on submission and updates, among a few other things. I might can even try to ‘walk it through.’ I’ll start researching it STAT, would like to hear from someone who’s done it before...

Thanks in advance!!

Checkout this basic walk through on how to submit a FOIA request: https://www.foia.gov/how-to.html

Here is the actual handbook for submitting a FOIA to the DOE: https://www.energy.gov/sites/prod/files/maprod/documents/Handbook.pdf
This website lists the regulations related to FOIAs to the DOE: https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-i...tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title10/10cfr1004_main_02.tpl

Speaking as someone who has dealt with several FOIAs in the past, and works in the government, I can at least tell you some positive news. There are strict laws on how long any agency can respond (and must respond) to a FOIA request. The downside is that content is not always what the requester is looking for...but by all means move forward with it and keep us updated on their response!

Thanks for the info, I just checked on the FOIA request status and there was a ‘hang up’ but I hope that is now resolved. Also I have a ‘point of contact’ now and maybe things will move along quickly.

I will put out whatever I receive and will try to link whatever ATVM status decisions and communications with ‘milestones’ and ‘information’ Paul and Co. put out. Knockwood !!

Just received preliminary scope questions: am requesting all communication for the last 10 years between Elio Motors (of Phoenix AZ and Livonia MI) and the DOE ATVM Office. Am not requesting ‘attachments’ but can request them at a later date.

Want to see where the loan status was during the entire period, with particular attention to what Hari did, or did not, do as a paid liaison and board member and ESG Engineering principal/employee.

Will update as appropriate......

Sam, Yes, no progress on that front. Paul and Hari have been very fortunate at ‘running out the clock.’ I guess the best we can do is remind future investors of new Hari and Paul’s ‘projects.’

When I do get some FOIA info, I’ll put out the information.
