Be 72 in less than 4 months, rode for over 25 years, bad knees and currently on my way to MD Anderson Cancer Center for radiation treatment for prostate cancer and patiently waiting for my enclosed a/c AMT Elio
all the best, while we're sharing, I had a case of non-Hodgkins lymphoma, stage 4, I was, what they call a slammer! -first Dr. opened me up, took one look, (was too much for him)- and pulled the flap back (slammed)- was airlifted to a medical center where a Battlefield surgeon from Desert Storm saved my life.
Of course, I had no idea where I was, how I got there, and why all the tubes, and a push-button to zonk me out(morphine).
Aside from missing internal parts, and irregular zipper scars, I've been clean for 15 yrs, and me too 50yrs on bikes (well lets say two wheels) my parents only allowed a Vespa, when I moved out moved over to bikes- craziest- BSA 441 Shooting Star (single) with compression release, smoothest -any of the 4 BMW airheads last one was RS1100, had, Norton, Moto Guzzi, Triumph and.....and the only bike I felt truly a part of the machine -H.D. V-Rod amazing engineering, very low COG, and smooth. Long story short- sold the v-rod, guy pulls up with a trailer- walks in gives me cash (asking price) and goes out to retrieve it-I asked if he wanted to start it up- no need he has mechanics in SPAIN. Shipped them out through Miami, and triples his money

Melanoma survivor here. They wanted to give me chemo after scalping me but I refused, but okayed radiation. So they hit me hard. Piece of cake compared to the skin graft.:)
I have abandoned my web site but you can find it by searching on Bing for xmission cancer (#1)
Best wishes for your recovery.
Thanks. Also diagnosed with a melanoma just this week. Optimistic about being cancer free when I leave MD Anderson. Congratulations on being a melonama cancer survivor
