I had a chance to buy one but passed because its hard to find 10rd magazines for it. I like the Earlier version of Bersa 380 minus all the safetys the current ones have
The regular Bersa Thunder 380 has a 10 round magazine, and you are right, the only place to get them is to order them from Bersa. $30 or so.
I also have the Bersa Thunder 22, which is identical to the 380, for shooting practice. Has all the same controls.

Mecgar makes Bersa Thunder 380 mags as well. Mecgar makes good mags i use them in many of my guns. I like the 22 version I have never been able to get one here in CA due to our gun list and finding one private party is hard. I like the Bersa Thunder pro 9 because its somewhat similar to a Walther P88. Also not available in CA.

I considered a .380 for my regular CCW but ended up with a Kel-Tec P-32 instead as it is considerably smaller and lighter than good .380's such as the Bersa Thunder 380. The problem I found with the smaller sub-compact .380's is that the barrel is too short which results in the .380's not outperforming the sub-compact .32's while still sacrificing some size and weight.

My favorite car/heavy CCW pistol is a Springfield Armory XD 4" .40

My favorite range pistol is my Kimber 1911 Custom TLE II .45 ACP

I carry a .380 Ket tec P3AT quite often. You can hide it anywhere, or drop it right in your pocket.
Something this small of a caliber is use to "get away" from trouble, not to engage it.

I love my Sigs. I carried the 2009, or 2040 on duty. I sold the 40 after retiring, but kept the 9.

I have a variety of others, not including rifles and shotguns, but I don't carry those concealed.

U guys luck out. I need to go through so much crap to get a CCW. I think my county is backloged over a year for appointments. That's why I don't have one plus the extra fees and training.

CA is definitely not a gun friendly state. In GA you pretty much just walk in, fill out a form, show your ID, get electronic fingerprinted for identity verification, and pay $72.50. It takes about two weeks for background check to clear, the license to be printed, and the mail to deliver it to your home. Renewals are even easier as every five years you go in, fill out half page form, show your ID to verify you are still breathing, pay $30, and once again wait about two weeks for the new license.
