Anyone here involved in robotics? Challenge came out today. Build season for the next six weeks. Good times!

Absolutely and a Great challenge for our kids of tomorrow. My company sponsers several teams from MIT to high schools. We cut any part or vision the kids have to inspire them to succeed. We even won the prize (honor) with Aviation HS in Des Moines WA. Great kids and a lot of fun.

I work at Blue Bird, I can remember they use robotics to make a passage seat, weld tube to tube, and also bend the tube.

We have a pretty ambitious company sponsored robotics club [team] here at Boeing. I believe their last 'challenge' was to autonomously maneuver a Jeep Cherokee through an off-road obstacle course. Mainly younger engineers, very innovative..pretty cool. The company itself creates robots that you could consider, well, a dating service of sorts. It matches Muslim Extremists with their 72 virgins.

I was on a FIRST team in high school (11-12 years ago) - so much fun.
I'd like to mentor a team, but with my hour commute I don't know where I'd find the time.
