Oklahoma is unknown at this point so I suspect yes. I believe if you live and are licensed in a state that does not require it, most states will honor that unless you become a resident. :-) ZDoes anyone know if you need a motorcycle license in Texas and Oklahoma. I live I'm Lawton and that would seem to be the only hickup in an exciting vehicle.
Elio Motors has an entire department dedicated to getting these laws changed state by state. Since we are over a year away from getting our Elios I suspect it will not be a problem by then. :-) ZI'm in Oklahoma. A motorcycle enforcement is not practical for me.

I just downloaded the Motorcycle Operators Manual for Oklahoma. On page 48, the Three wheel supplement section it reads. "The following vehicles are not included in this definition, and therefore testing requirements may not be applicable: Automotive hybrids, Vehicles with automotive controls or seating, vehicles with front or rear mounted engines (engines must be mounted mid-frame below the rider to be considered motorcycle-based), vehicles with enclosed or semi-enclosed riding compartments." So it would seem to me that in Oklahoma we are OK not to have a motorcycle license. At least that is my interpretation.Does anyone know if you need a motorcycle license in Texas and Oklahoma.
