if they had more tour vehicles I suspect that State Fairs would offer great exposure .... with only one, it would seem logical that they need to keep it moving from market to market because the local news media coverage would probably be greater .... this weekend they are having what they call the Got To Be NC Festival at the NC State Fairgrounds .... it is a mini state fair that draws huge crowds .... if they could coordinate dates, including such events in their tour schedule wouldn't be a bad idea

My latest monthly graph. IMHO, hopefully Elio has received the message loud and clear, no amount of promotion is going to increase the reservation rate now. Solid progress towards production is the only way to increase interest in the Elio. I think it is of much more interest to chart the items sold from the plant and money raised, but that info is private, so we can only assume the worst and hope for the best.

All data points are close to 30 day cycles except the last data point where it was an 8 day cycle with only 15/reservations per day. That 15/day is the lowest rate per day since data has been published Nov 5, 2013. No surprise though.

I hope my expectations are not unrealistic. There is a car made in India called the Nano built very inexpensively. Everyone thought it would be a very large success. Instead, it was not.

"Expectations created for the car during the run up to its production may have been out of proportion with its realised success. A 2008 study, by Indian rating agency CRISIL, thought the Nano would expand the nation's car market by 65%,[6] but, as of late 2012, news reports have detailed the underwhelming response of the Indian consumer to the offering; sales in the first two fiscal years after the car's unveiling remained steady at about 70,000 units although Tata appears intent on maintaining a capacity to produce the car in much larger quantities, some 250,000 per year, should the need arise."
