What The Hell Is An Autocycle

3 wheeler that is more car than motorcycle, enclosed cab, car like control, safety features cars have.
Example the ELIO is an autocycle the CanAm spider is not. The ELIO is the Polaris slingshot is not.
Time has come for the old general rule that 3 wheels was a motorcycle to change.
The vehicle must be labeled according to what it really is.
Seeing those pictures makes me really hope they go into production.

Nice article. I did notice the writer boosted the hp to 95, tho. Overall, pretty positive.

Well... If you really WANT to pay CAR insurance rates, CAR license cost, CAR registration tax, CAR road tolls, etc... Etc.....etc we can just call it a C-A-R and make it nice and simple. Personally, I'd still much rather save the money and keep the vehicle's classification on the ambiguous side. I'll have no trouble figuring out what is sitting in the driveway, or what to call it at the DMV when there's money on the line. Just remember, for the insurance company and the DMV it's an 'autocycle'. For all other purposes it can be a CAR if that's easier for you.
I seriously doubt the classification-shuffle game is actually going to work anyway. The beurocrats will find a way to extract our "fair" share regardless what we call the thing by the time it hits pavement. But on the very off chance that they don't get ahead of our little deception......Shhhhh!, don't blow it for the rest of us!

Not sure what a lower court sorting out a collision has to do with anything. Whatever the legislation says is what it says. Whatever a judge does or doesn't like about it is irrelevant. Courts don't make law, (in theory). But if the law says three wheels doth a cycle make, then it's a cycle. Period. But if the legislators change that law in anticipation of lots of Elios run ng about the country, (cause they wanna cash in), then viola! It's a car!

Isn't that great to have this flexibility?
You might think so when yo go to get your small (read less $) tag
You might think so, when the insurance will (seemingly) be less than a car
You might think so, breezing down the HOV lane with no fees
You might think so paying tolls as a motorcycle
You might think so not needing a helmet.
Paul has been consistent in filling the "space" between a M.C. and a car to OUR advantage.
It's like complaining the weatherman doesn't "give a consistant answer"
You failed to mention Paul's inconsistent holding of his latte- If you watch all the vids, sometimes in his left hand other.....the right? I wonder what that means? what subliminal message is he really signaling?. Why does he do that?
