If they ever build the ELIO 8019 is mine. And I will order at least one more the day product starts. Not holding my breath bought a new car last winter and new bike coming in August not making any plans based on PE production.
Well said.

And I think that's how the haters that now feel that they 'been done so wrong' should have approached this in the first place.

I fully support ELIO and want to see it in production. If it fails after that so be it, but it should have a real chance. Should they not find the funding and my first $1000 blows away I will lose no sleep over it. But will morn the lost of the ELIO.

Ignorance is bliss.
The first 7 months were easy, when I knew nothing. Then I found you guys and all this talk about reservation #s and confirmation dates and delivery dates and orphands and dealer opening dates and delayed dates and***!!! I just can't stand it

I live in Wisconsin and have ridden Erik Buell's bikes both those he was making with Harley and a few of his custom racers. Erik Buell is a talented builder.
His bikes can with the right riders beat any of the others on any given day. He just could not over come the rice market and the generations that buy them.
Erik Buell will land on his feet somewhere he will find work. Sad day for him and the 126 that worked for him. Most of them were skilled workers they will recover. I know a few that have some of the last production bikes built for HD still in the create.

And not make a crappy product. Ever ride a Buell?

Yes, I have ridden several and own two, one of which I have ridden over 80,000 miles. They are completely awesome bikes, designed and build by a man that truly understands engineering and motorcycles - but not, apparently, business.
BTW, his "departure" from Harley-Davidson was a viciously vindictive f***ing by HD, ask any insider.
