Low in "aesthetically pleasing" too.
Can't believe they've sold even one that could be resold on Ebay.

The years of delay could cause Elio to be overwhelmed in a couple year with lots of low-cost EVs.

With newer batteries and electric motors and solar panels coming down in price, I think electric vehicles could improve; range and speed. With the lower price making them more affordable, one might see more electric vehicles on the road. I think it will help that fuel cells are coming down in price and size. I think fuel cells could help electric vehicles become more viable.

Hmm the shape and apparent scale of that image matches closely to a 250mpg competition car I know if. But with dependency on the scale factor. Basicly it was a very very tiny car. In fact a single seater.Perhaps a small company making electric vehicles might fill the niche for (somewhat) affordable electric vehicles?

But Opel had a 130mpg car that was similar too, and at a bigger size for two sociable seats. That would look very similar as well. The Opel was gas, so double that to estimate the eMPG as an EV.
Most of the affordable EVs...............butt ugly styling. The first one that is appealing to the masses will be a home run in the EV marketplace. The Meyers has a very appealing body styling, although seems like it's something out of the Roger Rabbit movie. Styling is obviously subjective.
