I work for a company called FilmBreak, and my team and I have a meeting with Paul next week to discuss ways in which we can accelerate their pre-sales campaign. We'd love to hear your insights on why Elio Owners are interested in Elio. If anyone starts a conversation me, I'd love to ask you a few questions to help us better understand. Thanks!
I'm a disabled old biker that can no longer ride; the Elio is a way for me to have something close to a bike. I was a long distance rider and had the full fairing and lowers and cruise control and all the gear to wear. I'll get close to the same feel without needing all of the gear. I also built custom cars for years; this will be a new palate to create with (and I have a number of plans for it). I also love new and different; the Elio is about as different as they come and I will be a constant cheerleader for it to anyone I meet. As for any other questions you have, everyone on here will be more than willing to talk to you about it; this is a fantastic group of people from all walks of life.

Thank you, this was very inspiring. If Elio brings us on, we will do everything in our power to help accelerate the production so that you can get yours! Very curious to see what plans you have for it.

Thanks for your input. Would you consider yourself to be a high mileage driver?

I believe I am , when I drive approx 16,000 per yr just to commute for work , then more for pleasure.
So the Elio really fits my needs, and maybe save some on the fuel bill.
Also have plans for customizing and showing at car and m/c shows

You'll probably be able to see the majority of the "personalized" vehicles on here. Seems we all have that "One Ups Manship" gene (no I will not do a PC version of that saying :D)

I my case it was the price, MPG, etc....but more than that the fact that being a biker for many years and due to an injury received during military service I can no longer ride...the Elio will bring back some of the joys of riding. Having talked to many who have pre-ordered I have found this same them repeated over and over by past riders who can't ride any more due to injuries, health problems, age etc...., I will be putting many long miles on my Elio.....live in New Mexico with grandchildren in Alabama, California, Oregon and Washington State......

Right now I would be considered a low mileage user so my priorities are -- I like the way it looks, is American made, low cost of ownership, and great mileage.
I am applying for a new job that would make me a high mileage user (120 per day, not so many tech jobs near the farm) so that whole list would reverse. Either way I want to own an Elio and will drive it as a decent weather commuter. Bad weather and shopping will put me back in my other car.

I would prefer to commute on a motorcycle if it were practical, and in the past I did. But for me, it is no longer an option. I need to turn up for work in good shape, looking smart, presentable and able to get straight on with the job, rather than spending an hour drying out and changing clothes. I also need to take at least two bags with me, one of which is a flight bag, which won't easily fit on a bike.

I have a choice of a three litre BMW and.a one litre Suzuki. Driving the smaller car saves running costs and I'd be quite prepared to save some more! The Elio can do that.
