Our engineers are working on that as we speak and they are looking at all of their options. While we here in customer service are not engineers, we expect that the roof to go up and be elongated slightly.

My guess is that in Ohio, Elio buyers pick up their cars in KY or in Shreveport. Which is a major pain for anybody in, say, Akron.

Do those laws apply to motorcycles as well? I thought I remembered some Harley Davidson played especially around there.

I found Tech Talk v58 to be interesting reading .... its good to see Tech Talk getting back to technical topics .... it makes sense in today's engineering world to run well based computer simulations prior to actual crash testing .... I'd never heard of them (no surprise there) and was interested to read, "Elio Motors has the good fortune to work with Altair Engineering on our crash test simulations. Altair’s simulation tools are considered the gold-standard in the auto industry and are used by automakers around the world to gather important engineering information and make critical design changes."

I doubt many people care to spend 8+ hours driving without a break so even at 7.2 gallons the Elio fuel tank will still prove to be plenty big enough.

AND the smaller tank makes rolling weight that much lighter...
