Next for us: a week 3 event at UMASS Dartmouth (which counts for points) and a week 5 event in Hartford (which won't count for points for us).

You hearing all the scuttlebutt about the final match at the Dallas event? Apparently they disabled some robots for being too high when they may not have been. And disabling bots for being set up over the landfill line. Pretty intense stuff!

When is the "St. Louis" event you speak of? I'd love to watch it if it's open to the public (or even for a fee).

The FRC World Championship will be at the Edward Jones Dome from April 22nd-25th. Not much happens on the first day beyond tech inspections and practice matches. Admission to all FRC events is free to the public. If we qualify, come find me in the team 230 pit! Bring safety glasses so you don't have to wear the scuzzy loaners.

Our first competition is this weekend in Richmond. I was volunteered, kicking and screaming, to be the official on field adult coach. Should be interesting. The strategies seem like they are all over the map. If we can consistently do what we do best, we should have a good year. I guess that's the whole key, huh? Consistency and repeatability.

I think this is a fantastic thing you and Comp are doing! Inspiring future Engineers, and man, the USA can use them!

I'll be wearing my "Elio Owners" tee shirt for easy identification at the St. Louis event.
