I just read this article from Master Herald. Can it be correct? It states the Elio will start shipping pre-orders 3 days after the engine is 1st fired on Feb 6th. I was under the impression that production was pushed out again to sometime next year.

Can't happen....there is no hired workforce....lasted news from Paul Elio himself is mid 2016 with the following funding available....Govt. Loan/ New York fundraising efforts progress/sale of surplus equipment from the manufacturing site/sale a whole lot of caps and t-shirts on their eliowear.com website/Also get more reservations in while on tour throughout the states. I personally believe they can get it done with all those prospects of raising capital. I still think there are billionare investors waiting in the wings to see what Paul Elio will do to sacrifrice his dream to be a reality...the clock is ticking on the manufacturing lease extension and crunch time in around the corners where rich investors get their best deals in times of desperation...hopefully, that will not be the case...GO ELIO TEAM !!!...WE'RE COUNTING ON YOU !

I don't know who runs/writes/types that Air Herald/Master Herald website but i've poked around the articles a couple of times and it seems like a tenth-grade high school English project run amok.

I got the feeling the fit and finish just isn't there visually not to mention the content not being all that solid or accurate.

Tenth-grade high school English project is likely a good analogy as the problem appears to be that they are based in Muskat, Oman so the writers are not native English speakers but instead likely learned English from a textbook. This results in a lot of information likely being lost in translation.

About Master Herald
Master Herald (مستر هرالد) is a Muscat-based news portal which is operated by Al-Mashroot Akhbar Company. Master Herald was originally founded by Iranian-Arab entrepreneur Mohsen Al-Ghadami to report the latest news stories directly from the Middle East region.

Al-Mashroot Akhbar Company, which currently operates MasterHerald.com, managed to attract a large number of loyal readers by publishing and distributing free weekly newsletters from 2006 to 2009.

In 2012, the Omani company decided to start publishing online. As a result, the Master Herald started its operations under the tutelage of Mr. Al-Ghadami. MasterHerald.com is currently one of the few online portals reporting news stories directly from the Middle East region.

The editorial team behind Master Herald believes in publishing trustworthy and reliable news stories. In order to achieve this goal, Al-Mashroot Akhbar Company is running MasterHerald.com independently from political parties. For this reason, no articles can be found on this website promoting political goals of any parties.

At this moment, the Master Herald is based in Muscat and the team receives financial and technical supports from Al-Mashroot Akhbar Company.
