Every new Idea has it's issues. but I'm a my glass is half full kinda guy. I would buy one today for my son to commute to and from school if they were out.

A summary of facts right now: engine has a big media day on Friday... production was recently delayed from this Sept. to 1H 2016... ATVM government loan guarantee application is being reviewed, I believe it started in the October timeframe, could take another few months to get a yes/no on the request for about $180 million loan, no one knows for sure... Elio Motors has hired a company to help them raise money... many state legislatures are having committee meetings as we speak, to review law changes regarding the Elio vehicle, things like defining an autocycle, stating that the occupants do not need a helmet, and the driver only needs a normal driver's license... some forum members here have had a hand in making that happen... and, the Shreveport plant is being rented/leased by Elio, well, about 1/3 of the 4 million square feet; the equipment in the plant has been reviewed, and decisions have been made on what equipment to keep and what equipment to sell, and the equipment to sell is being sold (we HOPE lots of it is being sold, but it seems to be moving rather slowly... sorry, the one non-fact in this post!)
