My best friend (he was best man at my wedding 18 yrs. ago, and I was his about 10-12 yrs. ago) has one with an orange ext., black int. He may part with it since life is so busy now. There's just no time or money to put into it. It was a very nice one 10 years ago, but needs some attention now. No guarantee he's ready to sell, but he's talking about it. If you have the time and money for a mild project (not talking show car, but a very nice driver after a little work) I would be glad to put you in touch with him. Hey, at least we're in the same state (sort of. We don't claim Memphis on this end of the state. LOL). Send me a conversation and I'll check with him. You're kinda getting first dibs, since it's not really for sale yet, but he's the type that would appreciate it going to a good home. That's to be expected! I still miss mine and wished that I'd kept her. Maybe I'll pick one up and relive my youth!!!
Thanks for the welcome, Jim!! I've very happy to be here!
Cars? My 1959 Plymouth Fury that none had ever seen. I was 14 and just finishing 9th grade & almost no one had a vehicle let alone one like mine. Then my 1970 Dodge Super Bee, again never a car like it. My 1998 Lincoln Town Car executive series got so much attention! Then the Pontiac Solstice 2006 never seen before and was an actual roadster but similar to my 1984 Pontiac Fiero sport car.
Overall vehicle most fun to drive was my 2006 American Offshore speed boat 1BADBOY. 120 MPH 1000 hp, two four barrel carburetors, intercooler and two superchargers on one engine. CATs like to growl. I love to hang off to the side of the lake or Galveston Bay and watch dudes with half million dollar and up boats race boats with less horsepower and laugh at them for losing. I'd coast up and ask Mr Bully if he wanted to play with me. Most didn't and none did more than once. It was so funny to watch a group in a high dollar boat tease a lesser boat and scream put downs and then look in my direction and then all go quiet. My son and his two friends were with me once in the bay and he yelled at one bully type who had been mouthing off. Josh said "you just think you bad. This is Badboy!" We played with the guy up to about 85 and then Josh waved bye bye and I tapped the last quarter of the accelerator and bye bye happened; love the sound of screaming superchargers! The two friends in back of my boat did have to lean into the floor to void the wind.
Fun is speed, looks, comments and ride. E-L-I-O!
