I'm glad that so many are coming to Charlotte!
After reading how far a lot of you are going to travel I feel bad about being mad that they weren't going to Concord Mills Mall for the showing. It will only be about a 35 mile trip for me. It would have been about 16 miles to CMM. Looking forward to meeting you there.

We (husband and I, not the goat from the picture HA) will be driving down from WV on Saturday evening. We are staying at a hotel in the Charlotte suburb of Pineville because it is close to the Waldhorn - an excellent German restaurant (food and drinks) that we will not miss going to when in the area. If anyone is interested we would enjoy some dinner company. Oh! and going to check out the Elio Sunday.

we hope to get there Saturday morning and stay until sometime after lunch .... wish we could stay later but it just isn't in the cards

My ears always perk up when I hear someone mention good German food as I love it. I see on the maps this is less than 8 miles from the mall. I might just have to have to make this our Saturday evening Elio meal as I was getting ready to ask for suggestions sometime this week anyhow.

If there is anyone who is thinking of staying in Charlotte a night or two I found an affordable motel near the Mall. Best Value Inn Charlotte for 44.95 Saturday night. I may do it.

I'm driving up from Fairfield Co. SC, not too bad, maybe 75 miles one-way. Haven't decided whether to do it Friday or Sunday.

I know nothing about the SouthPark Mall, does anyone know if the exhibit will be setup inside or outside ?? .... the long range forecast for Saturday the 6th is 60 degrees with rain or drizzle ..
