I guess I look at it from the perspective that because I put my bit of money down does not make me an investor, it makes me a consumer hoping that car is made and from everything that has been said and done over time, Elio is making progress and taking things a step at a time. Remember, this is a first time sort of thing and every step forward has been a deliberately made one (maddeningly slow to be sure) in order not to waste resources not easily replaceable. Not regularly informing investors of progress? They have, without a doubt, been assiduously informing investors of what's going on. Don't confuse your "all in" money with investor money, completely different animal. Our money allows us the information commensurate to the amount put into the company. So, I preach patience, or if that doesn't work go with "Que sera sera". No amount of crabbing will change the course PE has chosen to take or the final outcome. The whole enterprise has been an exercise of getting in on the ground floor of a really fabulous automotive enterprise that has the potential to change the face of the car industry or it may flop like so many other dreamer/innovators. Buckminster Fuller anyone?

On the other hand, if you want to see another project that hasn't worked out, look up "Moller Skycar". As a professional pilot, I could never see it working and would never fly in one even if I got the chance.

The Skycar is so cool! The complexity of that project makes P. Elio look like he's trying to produce pedal cars by comparison!

You give an INCH to a bunch of kids and they want a MILE!!! Lol. We're lucky to have Goofy1 that give us EXTRA inside scoop aside from what EM is prepared to share at this time! I use to hang out here everyday, every few hours and for what? To read the same calculated guesses and opinions not validated by EM??? Of course there's nothing wrong with group discussions specially if we're talking about what matter most- our own ELIO investment of course! But to be overly involved in a subject we don't have control of the outcome and just getting upset w/ other posters who does not share one's view is not healthy people! I since then stop by here once a week to read the weekly EM blog to get fresh info. I consider this EM's "small step for man, giant leap for mankind" (Neil Armstrong) kinda thing so they want to get this right, on time or not I don't really care, but it will happen...I'm betting my already invested IK all in! How 'bout it fellas???

You're spot on wheaters... I followed the Moller Sky Car for many years but it has been a pretty dismal failure... Quote from WIKI...

In April 2009, the National Post characterized the Moller M400 Skycar as a 'failure', and described the Moller company as "no longer believable enough to gain investors".[7] On May 18, 2009, Dr. Moller has filed for personal protection under the Chapter 11 reorganization provisions of the federal bankruptcy law[8] and it is unknown how this will impact the fate of his ideas; Moller International itself did not file for bankruptcy but reduced operations.[9]"

The concept was fascinating and very Jetson-esqe... Unfortunately, just wasn't a workable idea in practice... Unless Moller can get some Tony Stark Ironman type repulser/thruster units I don't see any conventional power plants providing the performance he was projecting...
As for me... I'll stick with EM's "Pedal Cars"... I think everybody just needs to suck it up and be patient... It's gonna happen folks!!!

It's not just the powerplants that are the problem...if the engine fails, you need to be able to glide clear, not plummet like a dead sheep because the designer forgot the wings!

By the way, I'm nye on positive it will too. It's never guaranteed is all.

Yup, I'm good with proven, safe technology that will get me there safely. It beats the thrill of a straight down plummet.

It's not so much the fall that kills you as the sudden stop at the end.
