I am far from a gear head or knowing much about the mechanics of it, but it looks great and can't wait to see it tested!
Me too. I know enough to guess at what I'm looking at and understand a lot of the comments the gear heads are making, but these parts being offered in a press release makes me happy. On with the testing!

Yea, the photos make the engine look the size of a large car battery.
Since it is based on the Metro engine, I will guess that (like the Metro engine) you could use a plastic "milk crate" for an engine stand! So, if you put 2 gallon jugs "side by side" you will see how long the engine is. :cool: And I will guess the "assembled weight" at under 85 lbs.:)

Clearly from the picts of Elio block, that it is all aluminum (which was expected). The iron sleeves had not been pressed in yet. I do not know of an engine that uses aluminum cylinder sleeves, hence the cylinder walls will be a little thicker than shown.
