although it is indeed a positive that the members and buyers numbers are moving up,- "lots of people with confidence in the Elio" only looks that way. Even 17,000 is a very, very small number of car buyers. We tend to reinforce each other as the "true believers" of the Elio to the point we can't understand what's taking so many, so long, to "buy-in". I was on a special cruise for Vegans- there were about 1600 of us, and how often I heard the generalization that "there are now so many of us", the reality is a very, very small number, but it felt so much better being with others of similar ideals- Then again maybe it's me, my cup is always half empty!

I think if you check the Elio Motors webpage you will see that there are over 28,000 reservations now.

This is inevitiable with the Elio. Not a ton of people are willing to put money down on something they can't truly touch. Maybe they can't afford to right now, maybe they are scared, lots of factors come into play, but all things considered, there are quite a few.

Hi Buckeye, Yeah, I was told in Michigan that September might not happen till December. But, that was before Elio applied for the gov. loan and the GREAT success in reservation sales the past few days. Hang in there people. it is the long haul we're into and I need the time to save my money. It will be OK. It will, It Will, IT WILL BE OK !!!!
