Greetings everyone. I've recently been bitten by the Elio bug and I'm currently obsessed. Can't wait to get my first look at it in October when they roll through Birmingham. I'm still on the fence on whether or not to go "All In" at the $1,000 level, but this new deadline for locking in the bonus may make up my mind for me. Really wanted to wait until the engine is done, but I trust the company and feel like they are truly trying to revolutionize the way we approach commuting. Anyway, here's to hoping we'll all be cruising around in our Elios in due time getting envious stares from everyone.

Jules, welcome to the forum and soon to be Elio stampede. I locked in my first reservation in Oct 2013 and upgraded to the $1K level in March 2014. I know many people are reluctant to put their money down on something that hasn't been produced yet but we have over 5000 people who have $1k reservations and I suspect that number will more than double by 9/1/14 Every day we gain stronger confidence in Elio and I am extremely confident that I will be driving mine before Christmas next year. Welcome and enjoy the forum, its helpful friendly members, and the Elio experience.
