Hello. I went "all in" at the $100 level on July 11. Upgraded to the $500 level on July 18. Today, after receiving the email, I upgraded again to the $1000 level. I have 3 different "order numbers" but have not received anything indicating what my "production number" is. I assume I will take a spot behind all the current $1000 non-refundable deposits. I'm really looking forward to seeing Elio at the State Fair of Texas auto show in September/October.
Ed, Congratulations on your decision to upgrade to $1K. Normally the "window" for securing reservation numbers is about 7-8 weeks. The last reservation numbers release was in early July and I think most of us anticipate the next release to be around Labor Day. Hope you will use the forum search function to enable you to quickly find the answers to most of your questions and if you can't find it just ask because the members are helpful and friendly. We are a diverse group with expertise in many areas so someone will jump in and try to help. Welcome to the Elio journey and I hope you find the experience rewarding.

Just wondering how many folks decided to take the plunge as I did in order to get the $500.00 cost reduction. I have been following the Elio progress and made the decision to risk $1,000.00 based on the progress made. Who else took the plunge as I did?

I completed my upgade to $1,000 just a week ago. A great auto cycle, a great vision Paul Elio has(thank you Paul Elio) and a great offer the $500.00. off retail price as was stated for using our monies for a year. A great package to deal with the never ending high cost of a gallon of gas!

How much can I afford to lose is the question you have to ask yourself each time you make an investment. The amount you stand to gain is secondary.
Meh. I don't think anyone wants to loose $1k, but there are far worse ways to blow a grand and have nothing to show for it. At least I'll have a $1000 t-shirt. Ha!
I'm rolling the dice! Come on Paul E.!

Just went "All-in" straight up 10 minutes ago. I pretty much knew I was gonna get one since I first learned about the Elio, just didn't have an extra $1k for something like this.

It's gonna suck having to wait a year but I'm just gonna get in on all the rumors and anticipate a great vehicle.
Congratulations on your decision to jump in! We are all here in this risk taking venture with you. Welcome to the group.

Pablotech1, congratulations on your decision to make the big plunge. Waiting for your production number is like a kid waiting for Christmas and just as enjoyable. In the meantime take advantage of all the information in the forum and if you can't find what you are looking for just ask. We are usually friendly and helpful. Welcome to this historic journey in personal transportation.

I went all in at $250 because of the 50% thing yesterday planning to upgrade to $1k when I could. Sold my brothers old motorcycle he never uses for him and used my cut to upgrade to $1k today because I wasn't sure if I upgraded if my $125 would be carried over to the upgraded $1000 reservation.
