I'm looking forward to running the blue ridge pky and the dragon! Curvy mountain roads all over north ga, nc, tenn, gonna be a blast! What mountains does Ohio have ?

Howdy from Marietta, GA. I'm all in for this group. One of the recent videos on the EM blog had a British reviewer refer to the manual steering during his test drive of a P4 as not conducive to driving twisty roads. It should be mentioned he also test drives high performance sports cars, too. With about 2/3 of the weight on the front wheels, you may, as another test driver said, "Give myself a real workout." Since none of us have driven one, at this juncture, we can only go on what others have reported. Also, I think the last car I drove with manual steering was back in the early '60s. After completing the Tail of the Dragon, you may find putting on the air conditioning to be most refreshing!

As for Ohio, it has the Appalachian mountains in the eastern half of the state, but they aren't the challenge you find in Tennessee or North Carolina.

We're in Conyers, GA. Have recently just learned about the Elio and quickly became obsessed. We look forward in seeing, touching, sitting in it in October. #5134 and $100 all-in.

CShep, Welcome to this amazing talented group of Elio fans. Yes the Elio can become quite addicting and most of us are very anxious for production to begin. Goofyone, one of the forum moderators is a Georgia resident and I 'm confident he will let you know what's happening in the Georgia region. Hope you enjoy the forum and look forward to your comments and opinions.

JIM. $100 is NOT all-in. That wont even get you a place in line. Minimum ALL-IN is $1000..Better do it now if you want in the first years production.
I'M ALL-IN for the grand and chewing my nails waiting for production to reach MY NUMBER #775.

fred,
I believe what CShep was saying he has $100 all-in, plus a $1000 production number if you check his tag line.

Fred, you can be "all-in" starting at $100 and then upgrading. I know because that's how I began. You do not get a reservation number until you reach the $1000 level

Welcome fellow metro Atlantan! :)

Glad you are excited about this neat little vehicle and were willing to jump in and put you hard earned money down on to two of these interesting vehicles. As Jim mentioned I am based somewhat near you in Cumming, GA. Our forum founder and administrator, Okuma Steve, is also based near us out of the Marietta, GA area.

We are glad to have you here. You have joined a very diverse group of people from all over the country who really enjoy discussing everything there is to know about this interesting vehicle. I hope you enjoy your time here reading about and/or discussing all there is to know about Elio Motors.

We have a survey we like reservation holders to fill out if they wish as it really helps us visualize the growing numbers and locations of future Elio Owners. For now information visit this link: http://www.elioowners.com/threads/elio-reservation-map-and-survey.1129/

We also have a thread for our many current and former service members to introduce themselves. If that applies to you visit this thread:http://www.elioowners.com/threads/military-service.1118/

If you ever happen to have any issues while on this forum please be sure to notify a staff member as we are here to help.

Hi Everyone! So does anyone live in the NE part of Ga? I'm close enough to the SC line I get their news instead of Ga. Anyway I was just curious....seems most people are in and around Atlanta.
