Checking in from the Central Valley of California. I'm a daily motorcycle rider with a 50+ mile a day commute. I'm looking forward to using an Elio during some of that commute time in the near future.

Welcome from TN Kewaneh. I think the Elio's milage will surpass your bikes.

I'm sure the Elio will get better mileage than any of my current or past bikes, the exception being a Yamaha 125 scooter I owned in the early '90s which routinely got 110mph+/- in the city. My daily driver, a Honda ST1300, gets 42-44mpg; not bad for a bike its size. It'll get better mileage if I stay off the throttle.

One of Paul Elio's marketing points has been to call the Elio an "and car", instead of a "or car". Owning an Elio won't get me off my motorcycles, it will just give me another option.

I left Fresburg a little over a year ago. The Central Valley MC riding weather is restricted only by Tule Fog and the occasional rain. AC in an enclosed commuter like the Elio will be very nice on those 100 degree month long stretches though. Welcome to the Forum.
