Checking in from the Central Valley of California. I'm a daily motorcycle rider with a 50+ mile a day commute. I'm looking forward to using an Elio during some of that commute time in the near future.
KewanehThanks for the welcome.
I'm sure the Elio will get better mileage than any of my current or past bikes, the exception being a Yamaha 125 scooter I owned in the early '90s which routinely got 110mph+/- in the city. My daily driver, a Honda ST1300, gets 42-44mpg; not bad for a bike its size. It'll get better mileage if I stay off the throttle.
One of Paul Elio's marketing points has been to call the Elio an "and car", instead of a "or car". Owning an Elio won't get me off my motorcycles, it will just give me another option.
Hi and welcome from Oregon, Kewaneh. I hope you enjoy the waiting time as you read, share, discuss and dream about owning an Elio. This is a good place to do all of that. 2015 Elios here we come! :-) ZChecking in from the Central Valley of California. I'm a daily motorcycle rider with a 50+ mile a day commute.
