Improvements To The Steering Wheel?

They definitely have to bring back the chrome ring for the horn button, and put the cruise control back on the steering wheel. That current non-descript horn hub looks so cheap. They had a classy wheel, why change that??

They do things for a reason; and the majority of the time it's to cut cost so that they can meet the $7,300.00 MSRP. Even something as simple as plastic chrome adds cost to the base price.

I was at Ford once, and got to listen in on a meeting that they were have on a new model that was planned; they were arguing about a washer. One washer was 1/4 of a cent, but another one was 1/3 of a cent, but they could use it in more places. Now you would think that an item as simple as a washer that cost that little was a no brainer; but when you're talking about going thru millions of these washers all of it adds up over a model run.
With the low MSRP of the Elio, watching pennies might seem like a waste of time, but it's not because of the quantities they want to roll out the door (250,000 a year).
