It was posted 4 hours before yours, probably why you thought you read it somewhere.
We just arrived at the same conclusion independently. I was noting the SIL number 19699 or so and just had the same thought you had earlier. I'm still catching up on posts from a week without computer access. I'm down to three pages worth.

Check out the 'Meet the New E-23 Vehicles' email from Elio Motors! E1B to be a physical record of changes and E1C to replace P5 in marketing. Haven't heard it mentioned, but the psychology with the road and track test is to set the bar low and then blow it out. So what happened in Manhattan was perfect additional publicity. Elio will have lots of great news soon, just watch! Potential NYSE IPO out there!? Everybody will want an ELIO, in a very relative sense!
Yes and no. You have to be All In and at the Thousand Dollar level to get the SIL. I'm in the next group for the moment with the $500 All Ins but it means I have no SIL. There are about 36k like me with a reservation and no SIL.
