I had to enlarge it to 350% to see the "front" seat (if you can call it that) it reminded me of a steno office chair.
The passenger must have to have a leg on either side of the driver to be able to sit back there.
Yes, it would be good at speed, but just not long distance.
It looked to me like the same motorcycle setup you would see on any two wheeler.

OK I'll try to get the wording right. This had a standard two-person motorcycle seat. One seat, two people.
:D Look a little closer, since it's all black it is a little tough to see completely.
But it really doesn't change my mind about running out to buy one; just something that draws attention to the person that owns it.
Not anything you'd see me on even if I had the money. ;)

This is worth a note... you never know what effect you have on the world. We are all little, but we all have impact..

When my daughter graduated from my 'old school' a few years ago, I visited the automotive department, met with the director and dropped off a wind-tunnel model for his amusement. This project pursuit may have had some influence ..... (link)

I ran across this three wheeler today in an article about concept cars over the ages that "could have gone too far"

Little large for a single seater; here's the story about it

From Driver Weekly
In our opinion, the Egochine B is one of those concepts that deserves a production model. The gorgeous three-wheeled single-seater is not a practical vehicle by any stretch of the imagination, but the seaside villas and sun-drenched highways of the Italian Riviera deserve the sight of one this Italian roadster. The first Egochine A was designed by Paolo de Giusti and was a finalist in the 2002-2003 Peugeot Concours Design contest. Frankly, we’re disappointed that it didn’t win, as the victors of each biennial contest were produced by the Peugeot Styling Center. Still, once he was out of the running, De Giusti had the time to return to the drawing board and improve his original design, resulting in the Egochine B, a more refined version of his original roadster.

That makes an X-Wing fighter look like a Model "T".

Can you imagine an aftermarket body kit that would make your Elio look something like that?
That would be cool; you would just have to add a roof and go further forward with the driver opening so it will seat two. :thumb:
