Guns And Stuff Related.

I'm leery of getting any new gun that would put me in any registration database. I'll stick with inherited and unregistered firearms.

Also, in TX, you don't have firearm registration, like most of the country.

Hmmm, an interesting first post, I must say. That was several pages back though; we're pretty much past any of that talk. The detractors stay away from this thread, because this thread is just for those of us who like firearms

I'm pretty sure more people are killed by cars than guns...and blunt objects...and knives...

Cars don't kill people, drivers do. Cars usually help protect us from bad drivers, but are not perfect, even with autopilot.

Perhaps there's not a STATE database, but getting the background check by the FEDS to obtain a firearm is certain to put you on THEIR radar and they are the ones I'm most concerned about.

The second Amendment had NOTHING to do with hunters of animals. It had everything to do with self defense. A well regulated militia was every able bodied male using standardized weapons so they were more useful and interchangeable. The great fear was another out of control and overbearing central government which was not responsive to the people's desires. George III was the villain of the day and they didn't want another to take his place.

To keep this Elio related, is there a glove box where you could store your second amendment instrument?
