Correct. But that's the craft I was talking about that they only launch over the ocean. It's loaded with every kind of sensor you could think of to collect data, then they/we use a missile to get it up to speed and then they just let it fall into the ocean when the fuel runs out or comes apart from the aerodynamic loads. At hypersonic speeds you can cover a lot of ground [or water in this case]. You could fly from New York to Los Angeles in around 35 minutes going mach 7.

OK so how many of you aviation guys believe in Aliens? I remember I asked my dad that questions when I was a kid. He was career Air Force 26 and a half years. He was in the Air Force before it was called the Air Force, the Army Air Corp. Any way, I asked him if he believed in Aliens and with out hesitation he said yes. I remember being shocked because it was not like him to answer any questions that quick.

Side note: He was on a ship headed to France to fly B25's when the war ended.

It's been some years since we've observed the "oddities", but it keeps me looking up at night.

You can find aliens in almost every city in America. But they aren't from other worlds. Just other countries.

Just to give a few more details of my "encounter."

I was 7 years old in 1965 and visiting my Aunt and Uncle (a fighter pilot in WWII and a commercial pilot at that time) in Pearland. They had been around aircraft for years. My Uncle was at work and my Aunt and two cousins went out to look for satellites on a crystal clear summer night. It was a popular thing back in those days.

We all observed a light which looked to be about the brightness of a planet, but certainly not the brightest star in the sky, zig zagging across the sky, making sharp 90 degree turns about every three seconds. The course was constant after adjusting for the zig zags. Total velocity was similar to other aircraft of the day (we were near Hobby Airport so had constant comps) and would not have been noticeable if not for the zig zagging.
