I'm hearing everyone's enthusiasm about the new Elios and how they are sharing the news with friends and relatives. Some are making brochures and posters, others are making t-shirts, and still others are calling people. Anyone who knows anything about marketing understands the power of "word or mouth" or referrals. Today we have social media to help us as well. Let's get on facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flikr, Instagram, etc. and let everyone know. THEN... tell us your stories here! What are people saying? Do they love the idea of the Elio as much as we do? How are you sparking interest within your sphere of influence? TELL US! Maybe your story will give us ideas and inspire us as well! Tell us your stories...

I would love to see some souped up Elios in some sort of snactioned oval track race..That would be COOL

I'm a member of the Mercury Marauders national car club and I'm not bashfull about pitching the Elio as my soon to be daily driver and give my 15 MPG high performance, supercharged, 400+ RWHP Marauder a much needed rest. 118,000 miles in ten years.
Other Marauder owners are looking seriously at the Elio. Crash test results seem to be the big concern.

(PS production seems to have been delayed till December 2015, not good. Gas prices in my area for 93 octane is around 3.83, may have to opt for another little car, used mini-cooper)

3 card, I couldn't find the reference for the Dec 15 production date, but Wikipedia has production starting in 1st quarter of 2015 Shreveport Times quotes Paul Elio stating production start up "will bleed " into 2015. There is a bit of buzz that the Elio financials are not up to par, article in Gas2.org.

However, I'm still looking into the Dec 2015 date I quoted.

That's not somethingto just put out here without something showing it to be correct. Not saying you're not correct, but that would be big news (bad news) and you should include a link to validate it.

We were on an 11 day cruise this month and i wore my "kiss me,im all in"'tshirt...employees of the cruise said they have seen others on former cruises wearing their Elio shirts..Linda and Paul number 1939

One of my neighbors asked if I had heard of Elio. She is a therapist who does home health care and drives many miles every week. After I told her about the Elio she went on the web and did her own research. Last night we had an hour long phone conservation. She was so excited about the 84 miles per gallon and the $6800 cost? Today she emailed me and said she went all in for $1K. Las Cruces now has 2 future Elio owners. Hopefully Julie will register on the forum soon

Now my wife wants one, she just bought a 38K KIA Sorrento SUV that gets nearly 35 MPG on the highway @ 70 MPH with the A/C on. Well she can have one we can travel together.
I'm going with the black, so is she, with gold striping and a firebird emblem. Our plates will read "BANDIT' and 'SMOKEY' respectively. LOL
