Does anybody know where Elio is with their progress with the government ATVM loan? Is there a way to monitor the progress on our own? I think any positive news would only help with reservations and stock sales.

I've had a newsbot trawling the Net for any signs of info on the ATVM loan, but so far no bites, not even a nibble.

For a touch of irony, DOE announced last month an additional $58M to advance fuel-efficient vehicle technologies. This would be on top of the billions of dollars authorized for the ATVM program that DOE has yet to grant or otherwise disburse. I believe DOE has only used about a third of the $25 billion originally authorized for this program.

I think I remember EM needed 180 million to start production but with the sale of stock and additional reservations it should be less. Hopefully EM hasn't underestimated what they really need. I also hope that the folks that make the final decision on the loan don't think well they really don't need this money they are making progress on their own.

Yes they are, I talked to Jerome when I was at the Shreveport show and asked about activity at the plant and he said they are still selling equipment to prepare for future production.
