Was the headroom better for the rear set in the P5?
I don't really need the room however it felt roomier over my head back there. They confirmed that there should effectively be two extra inches of head room becuase of lowering the seat and the new roof slope over the rear seat. The roofline change also allows for larger rear windows which contribute to the open feeling as well.

Glad you said that, didn't want to
get into the whole vertically challenged thing...:)))

In my opinion the passenger seat was one of the areas where it was really easy to see how much has changed from the P4 to the P5. The headroom is improved, the seat itself has improved padding making it more comfortable, the larger windows making the space feel more open, and improved arm rest areas which create very good elbow room all work together to make a passenger seat that I can realistically see people occupying comfortably for extended trips. On top of all that the seat back now folds nearly flat to the seat bottom maximizing the available cargo space when the seat is folded down.

I did take several photos of the passenger seat area with and without the seat folded down. These will be posted when I get the photos from Deb.

I just wanted to chime in here to let you know I did see the P5 and did ask some questions. I mainly want to say what a pleasure it was to meet and talk with Hector and Deb! Probably the highlight of the show. For those of you awaiting my review, I want to say please have patience and I'll get that done Monday. It's only so much fun typing on my 6S+. And this week is family time. I didn't follow the list that was created, but had my own agenda that I will report. One highlight statement said to me by Deb was that we need to make sure everyone else on this forum understands that this car is still in prototype mode. What you see pics of May or may not be what final production is. And as far as I'm concerned, neither myself or anyone else is going to change Pauls mind on how or what is going to be done on the production model. Well...enough of my rant. If you want an idea of what my review will be like take a look at the one I wrote up after seeing the P4 in Colorado. Please have a safe and enjoyable thanksgiving.
