Here's the picture showing the blue coolant hose attached between the coolant recovery tank and the cooling system. It needs enlarging - sorry it doesn't display well in this website (it's a .jpg file that displays well elsewhere).

So the battery is underneath the coolant recovery (expansion) tank.
That may limit access for using booster cables.

Given the note we got from PE on 11/16, I wonder if they were holding off on announcing the A+ approval until after the P5 reveal. I wonder if they had approval on the 16, but wanted to give the P5 all the attention to itself for a bit. Not that it matters.

Timing is everything. If they had released the information on the 16th, it would have generated a big yawn. By linking the announcement with the reveal ("We have close to 50,000 people wanting to buy this car. Our biggest bottleneck in development has been funding, and hey! Guess what? We just got Reg A+ approval!") they've been able to squelch some of the naysayers by showing they can be a viable business entity.

Any live reports/tweets/instagrams coming from the show? About anything?

Without meaning to minimize the Paris situation, what does it have to do with EM?

Pretty sure they were also aware that the Thanksgiving weekend (for us USA people!) was a known quantity!

I am hoping with all that said they were going to invest, follow through, and then we can keep speculating on what is and what could be!

Naw, They didn't plan it, but was certainly happy it happened. Remember, we were expecting the approval to happen at Halloween. I was afraid it wasn't going to happen. After all it was filed way back in June. But, with each request/demand for a re-submission, we got confirmation that it was still being considered. It's been a wild ride. The LA show has been in the works for many months. That date was set by the LA show organizers. But, elio took it as a goal. Get that P-5 ready, we's going to Cal-a-forn-I-a. And they did it. It wasn't a promise. In fact it was a big ass secret. The team did it and it is a great success.

You got me thinking. I looked for all Elio and Elio Motors. About 50/50 on P5 and Reg A+.
As I said, we are overlapping ourselves with finance and the new prototype.
As far as other vehicles, Individually, it looks like they are getting about half of the inches Elio is getting.
