Appeals panel upheld the 15 car's penalties, sounded like it was a slam dunk case. They have a final appeal to the comissioner if they choose, but VERY rarely does that change any decisions.

congrats to the 4 .... Harvick has to be the odds on favorite .... good to see the 88 & 24 make it, I was impressed with the way the 88 fought back to a 3rd place finish
Not a Harvick fan but he drove his a-- off and deserved to win this race. Eliminated Jimmy Johnson in this round and hopefully Jeff Gordon in the next,

Just read via the Nascar mobile app (I can't link from there for squat for some reason) - Xalta to switch from the 24 to the 88 car next year, the deal runs through 2018. Good news for Jr., makes me think that NAPA will probably follow Chase Elliott back to Cup.

They have already said that they would, maybe not as the only sponsor though; they will be a main sponsor for X amount of races, and a yet to be announced sponsor will take the balance.
