P3 Fenders

the change in the fenders was made to assist in the target of 84 mpg .... while that may not seem important, there are some who have posted the position that anything less would be tragic .... they have stated that the P3 front fenders will be available as an option .... the rear design will be what it will be

I have not seen the info about the finders and would appreciate knowing your source. I guess half is better than nothing. As to the rear, maybe a paint job will help... Thanks much!

As my avatar shows I'm a P3 fender guy. Have not fully accepted the futuristic fender option. More of a roadster guy.

As stated in another post, It's my dream…..my parade. There is no wrong answer just a difference in function and style.

I totally agree! Maybe the P4 fenders with the Elgin dash, for a futuristic look and P3 fenders with a standard dash for the roadster look.

I don't know about others but I would give up one or two miles to the gallon to have a car I enjoy looking at. Elio wants to offer options, ok, then offer the car with a choice of P3 or P4 fenders and rear end. Sounds like a good way for them to make some extra money to me.

Umm Trusting; take a number and get in line, there are quite a few people ready to make "goodies" for the Elio; just like an article I read the other day, we are a generation of "Makers".
I know they plan on offering color coordinated interior panel; I already have prototypes I plan on building; if you've ever seen the door panels and interior trim on the new Camaro's that will give you a hint

I like the lookof the P3 fender but it will have less MPG

The P4 fenders seem to be prone to chipping but have less wheels maintenance to clean rims and one could use any swap out rim for snow tires

At production time, will we have a choice? I thought the P4 was the final design...

The P4 is the most current configuration but there is scuttlebutt that the P3 fenders will be an option.
