we have been told is that with a full load of fuel and a 200 pound driver this vehicle should be nearly perfectly balanced.

OK, mine will definitely be out of balance ..

Sounds like a lot of us will be testing the brake balance of this vehicle and none of us better ever say the imbalance is due to our wife riding in the back.....LOL
Took the words right out of my..... keyboard. The wife commutes with me. The rear of the vehicle will be well anchored!

Getting this vehicle out of sorts is going to be very difficult and most likely involve some very serious adverse conditions and/or the driver doing something really stupid.:rolleyes:

We know that Anti-lock brakes (ABS), traction control (TCS), and electronic stability control (ESC) are all being included standard in the base price and when speaking with the Elio Motors tour personnel what we have been told is that with a full load of fuel and a 200 pound driver this vehicle should be nearly perfectly balanced.
Put Jeremy Clarkson in the driver's seat and he will do whatever it takes to do a stoppie, or something close. Or maybe the crew at Mythbusters. The idea of tipping or flipping over as the result of slamming on the brakes was probably considered when they worked out the geometry of the car. I'm not worried at all about that, but it was a question I hadn't seriously considered before you asked either!
